x402 wire contract 1.0.0
Section titled “x402 wire contract 1.0.0”The x402 payment exchange, rendered directly from the canonical x402types/openapi.yaml — the same schema the gateway (verify + settle client), the facilitator (settle server), and the generated SDKs all build from. Every type below is referenced from that file, never copied, so this reference can never silently diverge from the contract. All 256-bit amounts and validity bounds travel as decimal/hex strings (they do not fit a JSON number safely); parsing and validation of those strings live in the consuming service.
